Specifically, he has been involved in the design, project management, retrofit, and construction of renewable energy (wind, solar, biomass) and conventional power plants, resource recovery, and many other projects in the US and around the world.
Dr. Assadi has devoted considerable time in developing and utilizing efficient and robust technologies such as bio-digestion for improving our clients’ bottom line as well as the environment and quality of life for people in general.
Dr. Assadi holds a Ph.D., an M.S. (with high distinction), and a B.S. (with high distinction) in Civil and Structural Engineering from the College of Science and Engineering (Institute of Technology), University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. USA; he also holds a Mini Executive MBA from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Assadi has received training and certification in ISO 9001 Quality Control System.
Dr. Assadi has served as an advisor on the State of Minnesota International Building Code (IBC) Advisory Board in St. Paul, Minnesota; he served as an educator for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, in Brunswick, Georgia. He has numerous publications and has lectured nationally and internationally on topics such as American Petroleum Institute (API) storage tank design and reconstruction, American Concrete Institute (ACI) structures under impulsive loads, and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) buildings and physical security.
Dr. Assadi holds a patent in anaerobic digestion (waste to energy), issued in 2019 by US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He has received numerous awards including the Outstanding Civil Engineer Award in 1982 from the American Society of Civil Engineers.
He has served as the chief executive officer (CEO) for several companies over the span of two decades.
